About
Currently studying towards a PhD in Egyptology at the University of Birmingham, my research focuses on mourning in ancient Egypt. My wider research interests include Egyptian funerary ritual, religion and mythology.
I was on the organising committee for the Current Research in Egyptology Conference, held at the University of Birmingham in March 2012; the conference proceedings for this event will be coming soon!
I also work for Research and Cultural Collections at the University of Birmingham, a fantastic department that manages collections ranging from archaology and fine art to science and heritage.
