About
My research is in the field of the European avant-garde, and more specifically the early twentieth-century (anti-)art and literary movement Dada. On my MPhil last year I considered the role of Dada as artistic suicide. During my PhD I aim to assess Dada's political, social and philosophical impact from the point of view of French Existentialism, another identity-based philosophy with an important perceived nihilistic quality.
