Family experience of disability and impairment, social care funding and organisation, and attitudes/perspectives on welfare and 'care' are my primary areas of work. I am lead for doctoral research in the School of Social Policy, University of Birmingham and teach social research to postgraduate students from a range of social science backgrounds.
