About

My research looks at exhibitions of Greek architectural sculpture in various types of museum and gallery. I'm investigating visitor reactions to different display methods to establish which are most successful at achieving the aims of the institution, whether that is to present the pieces as sculpture/archaeology or to educate the visitor about Greek history / architecture / art / society.

Anyone interested in participating in this survey can do so by completing an online questionnaire -https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?hl=en_US&formkey=dExDdkF3M2NvaWJkdlVUZUVYc3RTbVE6MQ#gid=0

No subject knowledge is required, you only need to have visited one of the following exhibitions of Greek sculpture -
The Acropolis Museum, Athens (New)
The Archaeological Museum of Olympia, Olympia
The Ashmolean Museum Cast Gallery, Oxford
The British Museum, London
Delphi Archaeological Museum, Delphi
Kongelige Afstobningsammling (Royal Cast Collection), Copenhagen
Louvre, Paris
Museum of Classical Archaeology, Cambridge
Skulpturhalle, Basel

Some foreign language versions of the questionnaire (Greek, French, German, Italian, Danish) are available on request.
