About
I am a Part-time Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Birmingham, where I am also in the process of completing my PhD. My PhD research seeks to explain the design of EU conflict management policies in Bosnia, Macedonia and Kosovo. Employing a constructivist institutionalist approach to understanding policy preferences, I focus on the role of ideas and policy learning in EU policies such as support for consociational power-sharing as a tool of ethnic conflict management.
