About
Physics graduate from the University of Leeds, currently studying as a Doctoral Researcher in the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Birmingham. Specialising in Biophysics, Solid-State Physics, Nanoparticles and Formulation, Biomineralisation, also interested in Emergent Behaviour/Chaos.
My doctoral thesis is titled, Biological Control of Mineralisation and especially considers biologically controlled/functionalised magnetic nanoparticles and non-classical nucleation theory as an exploratory method for elucidating biomineralisation mechanisms.
I have extended experience communicating my research to industrial partners and non-specialists, further consultancy-based work may be negotiated via the University of Birmingham's TalentPool service.
