I am very interested in the ways in which secondary mainstream/special school collaborations using music may increase a sense of all students' belonging in music as musicians, through informal, practical approaches such as Musical Futures. I am also keen to find out if such collaborations may help to increase understanding and acceptance of 'difference' among participating students.
