About

My research centres chronologically on the archaeology of the Roman imperial and late antique periods and geographically on western Europe. Specific interests in this field include the Roman Army, Roman Britain, Roman Gaul, Roman urbanism, late Roman/late antique material culture, late Roman elite self-representation, archaeology and Roman numismatics. More general, thematic interests include urban archaeology, archaeology and the creation of social identity, funerary archaeology.
