About
I had studied and worked on Fine Arts for ten years and had paper published on Colour Theory. Also I hold a master degree in Economics and a first degree in Management jointly with Computer Science.
I was a journalist but now I am carrying research on investigating trade and FDI determinants in the discipline of International Economics at the University of Birmingham, UK. My MSc dissertation attempted to explain the impact of countries' characteristics on UK FDI outflows from a gravity approach. In my recent research we are looking at providing more rigorous micro-foundations for explaining detailed firm and product level trade flows.
Before taking my current appointment I worked at the Aston University, UK.
